Yogurt Gelatin with Kiwifruit

Zojirushi Recipe – Yogurt Gelatin with Kiwifruit

This light and refreshing dessert is easy to make. The yogurt and honey adds the sweet taste that'll match any fruit topping of your choice.


            	Yogurt Gelatin with Kiwifruit  Ingredients

Ingredients (serves 4):

  • 1 cup boiling water (208°F)
  • 1 cup non-fat plain yogurt, room temperature
  • 4 Tbsp. water
  • 1 envelope (7g) unflavored gelatin
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. dry milk
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Topping:

  • 2 kiwifruits
  • 2 tsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon zest

Fill Zojirushi water boiler & warmer with water and set temperature to 208°F.

In a medium bowl, place room temperature yogurt. In a separate bowl, place 4 tablespoons of water, sprinkle an envelope of gelatin and let stand 1 minute.

Add honey to the bloomed gelatin, pour boiling water and stir until gelatin dissolves completely, about 2 minutes.

Stir and add dry milk gradually to the gelatin water and mix well.

Add the milk mixture and lemon juice to yogurt and mix well.

Pour mixture into serving glasses and refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours.

Peel and dice kiwifruits into small pieces, mix with honey, lemon zest and chill until served.

Distribute kiwifruits over chilled gelatin and serve.
