Learn how to cook jasmine rice in a rice cooker! Jasmine rice is a type of long-grain rice with a delightful aroma that is commonly used in Southeast Asian cuisine as a side to curries, stir-fries, and grilled meats, as well as in dishes like fried rice. With the Zojirushi rice cooker’s Jasmine menu setting, preparing fluffy and aromatic rice is effortless.

Measure rice accurately using the plastic measuring cup that came with your Zojirushi rice cooker. Fill rice above the brim, then level off the cup. Now add to the inner cooking pan.
Fill the pan with cold water, rinse rice quickly once and drain.
Add water to the corresponding water level for “JASMINE". Make sure the rice is completely submerged and leveled to ensure even cooking
Wipe off excess water from the outside of the inner cooking pan and place in the rice cooker. Close the lid securely and plug in the rice cooker. Select the “JASMINE” setting and press START.
When cooking completes, open the lid and use the nonstick rice spatula to fluff the rice and serve. Enjoy!
