All of our drink bottles have their Do’s and Don’ts. To keep them fresh and functioning, here are a few recommendations, but for more details please refer to each of their product pages to learn more.
Of course they’re all fantastic for plain hot or cold water. The water will stay icy cold or piping hot for hours.
Great for Japanese teas or black teas—but don’t use loose tea leaves, cream or milk.
Can be used for black coffee, but don’t fill with coffee grounds or use milk or cream.
Don’t fill with salty liquids like soups, or fruit juices and sodas. Never fill with dry ice.
Since 1918, for over 100 years, Zojirushi has researched and developed vacuum insulated products, having started as a manufacturer of the inner liners for them. Our technical advancements in this specialty have proven that we have absolute commitment to our craft. Here’s a behind the scene look at just a few of our innovations.
To suppress radiating heat loss, we started wrapping copper or aluminum foil on the inner liner’s exterior. The bottle’s lid design also helps to minimize heat transfer.
Preventing leaks is a top priority for us—our various lids are all designed to avoid leakage while they’re resting in gym bags or picnic baskets.
We use a proprietary vacuum insulation method during manufacturing to minimize inconsistencies, and we inspect every single product during the process.
Our warranty covers the thermal insulation against any defects for a period of 5 years from the original purchase date. It must have been used in the U.S or Canada.
